The multidisciplinary team, comprising Psychiatrists and Allied Health specialists such as Psychologists, Medical Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Research Fellows, provides assessment and intervention service​s for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)..​

  1. Assessment Services:  
    • Diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorders
    • Psychological Assessments
  2. Intervention Services:  
    • We focus on providing evidence-based intervention programmes for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders with co-morbid mental health disorders, such as Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity/Impulsivity, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Tics Disorders and difficulties with emotional regulation.  These services include:
        • Parent education
        • Individual Intervention
        • Group intervention
        • Pharmacological management
  3. Research Programme:
    • We conduct on-going research in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our research encompasses basic and applied areas of research. To date, we have on-going studies which examine research questions in areas such as genetics, neuro-behavioural processes and evidence-based assessment and intervention. These research studies aim to contribute to the understanding and treatment of individuals with ASD.
