Autism Services serves children and adolescents with autism who are below 18 years old. The multidisciplinary team, comprising Psychiatrists and Allied Health specialists such as Psychologists, Medical Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Research Fellows, provides assessment and intervention services for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Cases may be referred to us from other hospitals, polyclinics, general practitioners, schools or through self-referrals.

Intervention Services:
- We focus on providing evidence-based intervention programmes for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders with co-morbid mental health disorders, such as Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity/Impulsivity, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Tics Disorders and difficulties with emotional regulation. These services include:

Research Programme:
- We conduct on-going research in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our research encompasses basic and applied areas of research. To date, we have on-going studies which examine research questions in areas such as genetics, neuro-behavioural processes and evidence-based assessment and intervention. These research studies aim to contribute to the understanding and treatment of individuals with ASD.
