Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

 

Our ADHD services provide specialised multi-disciplinary assessment and therapy for children and youth with ADHD and mental health co-morbidities.

Our team works collaboratively with parents and caregivers and conducts parent education and workshops to empower them to support their children’s needs.

Our multi-disciplinary team comprises:

We provide the following Assessment Services:

• Psycho-educational assessment
• Occupational Therapy assessment
• ​Range of Intervention Services:

1. Individual Behaviour Therapy (IBT)

• 1st Session: Intake Assessment (1½ hrs)
• Parent interview to assess the extent and severity of the presenting behavioural concerns
• Interaction with patient
• Parent psychoeducation and behaviour management strategies
• Design an intervention plan

• Subsequent IBT sessions may focus on one or more of the following, depending on the needs of the patient and family:
• Anger management strategies
• Problem-solving, conflict management skills
• Social skills
• Coping skills
• Parenting skills

2. Group Intervention

• Classroom behaviour skills
• Conflict management
• Social skills
• Study skills
• ADHD camp

3. OT Intervention

• Sensory integration
• Motor skills &coordination
• Handwriting, attention &visual perception
• Dyspraxia
• Self-regulation
