Art of Healing: A Self-Guided Journey Through IMH

Where creativity, compassion, and care meet.

At the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), art is more than expression – it is connection, therapy, and hope. Our Art on Campus initiative has transformed the hospital grounds into a living gallery of resilience and renewal. As part of the global Healing Arts movement (Jameel Arts & Health Lab x World Health Organization), this self-guided tour invites you to explore sculptures, murals, textiles, and patient artworks that celebrate recovery, dignity, and community. Through these creative expressions, the tour highlights how art complements clinical care – supporting emotional regulation, social connection, and healing.

Good for: Visitors, caregivers, students, staff, and the public interested in art, health, and heritage.
