Art of Healing & Heritage: A Self-Guided Journey Through IMH
Where creativity, compassion, care and history meet.
At the IMH, healing is shaped not only by clinical care, but also by stories, spaces and heritage. This self-guided tour brings together art and history, inviting visitors to experience how creativity and legacy continue to shape mental health care today.
As you journey through the campus, you will encounter sculptures, murals, textiles and patient artworks from the Art on Campus initiative, alongside heritage landmarks such as the Woodbridge Museum, Woodbridge Bell Site and Heritage Garden. Together, these spaces reflect IMH's journey – from its early institutional roots to a recovery-oriented, community-focused approach. Through art and heritage, the tour highlights how expression, memory and place can support connection, dignity and healing.
