Thank you for taking the first step with CHAT on your mental health journey! Seeking help is such an important step, and we know how difficult it can be. We want you to know we're here for you.

What does CHAT do? CHAT provides confidential mental health checks for 16 to 30-year olds currently living in Singapore.

At our checks, you'll have a conversation with our qualified mental health professionals about your mental health concerns, and how they may have affected parts of your life. This helps us better understand what's going on, so we can recommend you appropriate professional help based on your needs. Click here if you'd like to know more about our CHAT mental health check.

Our mental health check request form can be found below. We'll contact you via phone within 5 working days once we receive your form.

If phone calls are difficult for you, we also have an online text-based webCHAT service, which you can find out more about here. We'd love to hear from you there!

During the mental health check, you'll meet with 1 or 2 members of our mental health team. If you have any concerns with this arrangements, do let us know in the form. We'll do our best to meet your needs.

If you, or someone you're concerned about, are feeling suicidal and in need of urgent support, please contact Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) at 1-767. Stay on the phone until someone attends to you. Or, head down to the nearest hospital's Accident and Emergency (A&E) Department for immediate medical attention. Both operate 24/7.
