Working as a PSA has been a very rewarding experience. Seeing patients make progress even in small steps and knowing that I played a small part in their recovery gives me pride in my work and reminds me that mental health is very important.

My work is not just about assisting patients with administrative works, and payments. We face unique challenges every day, which teaches us to be humble and show compassion to others. It is important to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment, and this makes patients feel safe here.

Working in BO for the past six years has been an incredibly rewarding experience. A key aspect I value in my role is the opportunity to actively contribute to national and cluster-level projects. These projects have broadened my professional horizon and facilitated my growth by allowing me to collaborate closely with IT professionals and colleagues from other hospitals, enriching my expertise and fostering cross-disciplinary learning.

My portfolio focuses on patient billing, and the opportunity to work on system and billing improvements is particularly fulfilling as it directly benefits patients and their families.
