IMH's CHAT wins National Clinical Excellence Team Award 2022

Adolescences and young adulthood are periods of major transitions, and also life stages where we are vulnerable to stress and also mental health conditions. Early identification and intervention are thus important to preventing mental illness or mitigating its impact on our lives. Since 2009, CHAT has been providing mental health assessments to youths aged 16 to 35 in a conducive manner. Referrals to CHAT has grown exponentially, from about 50 in 2009 to over 2000 in 2021. Today, CHAT is the “go-to" resource for youth mental health information, professional support and training. For their contributions and achievements in improving access and delivering quality mental health care to distressed young people, CHAT has been awarded the National Clinical Excellence Team Award 2022. ​
