A rainbow, after grief and loss? That’s what Chow Yen-Lu and his wife Yee Ling built, in the wake of losing their son in 2009, when he took his life. Determined to help youth in Singapore develop the tools they need to care for their mental health, the couple founded Over The Rainbow in 2012, offering free mental wellness resources and community support to youth. Among those who have come forward to support their work is Lim Yan Ling, whose journey with depression and borderline personality disorder led her to Over The Rainbow, for which she now volunteers.
