OCD is more than just repeated hand washing or arranging items till it is “perfect”. OCD is a result of intrusive and recurrent thoughts that cause distress and hence they drive certain actions to relieve anxiety temporarily. These obsessions and compulsions can result in a decline in one’s quality of life.
