AMERICAN NURSING CREDENTIALING CENTRE (ANCC) ACCREDITATION WITH DISTINCTION
The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) has been awarded the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Accreditation with Distinction, the highest accolade from ANCC. IMH is also the first mental health institution in the world to receive this accreditation. With this newly acquired accreditation, IMH’s Nursing Education Department is now certified to provide high-quality continuing nursing education (CNE) to upgrade the clinical skills of nurses who work in mental health settings and to improve their care delivery, thus ensuring the continuum of mental healthcare in step-down facilities in the community.

Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) for Basic Cardiac Life Support Training (BCLS) and Workforce Singapore (Wsg) for training courses relating to:
Care of patients with mental illness including
- Identify behavioral cues of patients with aggression and suicidal notions
- Care of patients with aggression
- Care of depressed and suicidal patients
