IMH organises talks, seminars, conferences and courses on a regular basis so that our staff can continually improve their clinical knowledge and skills. This allows our staff to keep themselves updated on the latest developments in their respective fields. Some sessions may be opened to medical staff from other institutions and restructured hospitals.

The new Graduate Diploma in Mental Health is jointly organised between IMH and NUS. This course provides GPs with the knowledge and skills to be able to competently treat basic mental health conditions at their clinics.

The Introductory Course in Psychotherapy is also jointly organised with NUS. Its main purpose is to offer participants an insight into core areas in Psychotherapy, such as Psychodynamics and Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy.

IMH will continue to engage external institutions to develop new courses and training programmes to meet national needs and position IMH as the leading mental health education provider in the region.
