Stories of Recovery

These personal stories are taken from the book "Journey to Recovery". We hope this collection of short stories will give you have a better understanding of mental illness and of the challenges of people who suffer from it.

The book was produced by our Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), which started out as a pilot outreach service comprising community psychiatric nurses and allied health professionals to further support the mentally ill in the community. CMHT is currently one of the National Mental Health Blueprint programme funded by MOH. The book also commorates the programme's 5th anniversary.
