Inpatient Charges
Woodbridge Hospital houses 2000 beds spread over 50 wards.
For those who require inpatient care, modern facilities at the hospital offer a conducive physical milieu, effective treatment and rehabilitation programmes to help them return to normal functioning in the shortest period possible.
The hospital has a range of inpatient accommodation, from single-bed, air-conditioned rooms to cubicles with 12 beds with no air conditioning. Each ward is also provided with therapy and counseling rooms and a comfortable day space and dining area to cater for patients’ recreation and diversional therapy. Television is provided in all the day space. |

The above charges are applicable for Singapore citizens, and will differ among Permanent Residents, Resident Foreigners and Non-Residents. Please confirm with the counter staff prior to admission/consultation.
The charges are inclusive of 7% Goods and Services Tax, and they are subject to change without prior notice.
Deposit
The patient may be required to pay a deposit upon admission. Deposit top-up may be requested if the patient's bill exceeds 75% of the deposit amount.
Full / Partial waiver of deposit is accepted if:
- Letter of Guarantee from the employer / banks or insurance company is furnished; or
- Employees of companies, which have a standing arrangement with the Institute of Mental Health & Woodbridge Hospital (HIC Scheme), produce their hospitalisation identity card; or
- Medisave form is signed. For patients admitted to class B1 and above, 50% of the deposit is required.
Medisave
Medisave can be used to cover part of hospital charges for account holders and/or their immediate family members namely spouse, child, parent and grand-parent (grandparent must be a Singapore resident).
Utilisation of Non-immediate family member’s (i.e. Siblings, In-laws, Uncles/Aunts and Nephews/Nieces) Medisave may be allowed on a case by case basis if:
- Patient is Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Patient is hospitalised in Class B2 and C wards only.
- Patient and immediate family members do not have Medisave or have utilized all their Medisave
An application can be made through the hospital with documentary proof of relationship.
The use of Medisave for psychiatric treatment is subject to a withdrawal limit of $150 per day and a maximum of $5,000 per year.
Medisave can only be used for inpatient medical charges. It is not allowed for hospitalisation stay of less than 8 hours. It also cannot be used for non-treatment related expenses such as telephone charges.
Medishield
Hospital charges incurred for treatment of mental illness and personality disorders are not covered under Medishield.

Actual charges may differ among Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents, Resident Foreigners and Non-Residents. Please confirm with the counter staff prior to admission.
Kindly take note that Sunrise Wing wards only offer Class B2 accommodation and Class C wards for children are unavailable. Sayang Wellness Wards only offer A1, A2 and B1 accommodation for adults and the elderly.
