Community Addictions Management Programme (CAMP)

The Addiction Medicine Department's Adolescent Clinic began operating from 11 April 2008. The clinic is open every Friday morning, and our doctors and counsellors will assess all new cases. Every patient is assigned a counsellor who provides individual counselling, guidance, and support. In addition, our doctors will also follow up with the patient on a regular basis.

Parental involvement is vital to the treatment process. Parents are therefore strongly encouraged to be involved in all treatment programmes. Eligible patients can also participate in our structured outpatient group program, which focuses on life skills training and reintegration back to the family and community. Whenever required, we can link up with relevant community agencies to meet the needs of patients and their families.  Our clinic accepts referrals from parents, polyclinics, schools, MCYS, and other relevant agencies. We will see patients between the ages of 13 and 19.  Some of the common problems we treat include substance abuse, internet and gaming problems.
