The Autism Clinic provides diagnostic and assessment procedures that include a parent interview, a child observation session and a cognitive or developmental assessment. The primary goals of assessment are to determine diagnosis, and to obtain an overview of the child's development and behaviour in order to provide appropriate recommendations for intervention services.
