The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) provides specialist outpatient services for psychological and psychiatric problems. Our dedicated multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, medical social workers and occupational therapists ensure that our patients receive comprehensive care. Treatment is designed to meet each person's needs.

ALEXANDRA DAY CENTRE
Alexandra Day Centre was opened in 1983. The 1984 Day Centre Survey of Relatives’ Views revealed a strong demand for similar psychiatric day centers in Singapore.

BUKIT BATOK DAY CENTRE
Opened in 1994, the Choa Chu Kang Day Centre was originally sited at Bukit Panjang District Office. It was relocated at Bukit Batok in 1996.

INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH DAY CENTRE
As with any of the other 2 Day Centres, the Woodbridge Hospital Day Centre accommodates in-patients for a duration of 2 weeks. All patients enjoy a variety of services and activities.

REFERRAL
Suitable psychiatric patients may be referred by all psychiatrists via the current Day Centre Referral Forms.
