Regretfully, we will not be having Psychology Observation Programme (POP) in Jun/Jul 2010. 

The Department of Psychology offers a Psychology Observational Programme (POP) for 3rd year and honours psychology undergraduates who are considering working in this fascinating field. 

About POP

Trainees will have the opportunity to observe clinical psychologists at work with people having mental health concerns.  These sessions may be live or taped, and trainees will observe in a group via video or audio.  The programme also includes case discussion, which may include, at the presenter’s discretion, some lectures on various forms of Psychotherapy or Psychological Assessment. 
In addition, there will be opportunities to attend Clinical Teaching Sessions, multidisciplinary team meetings, Continuing Psychiatric Education sessions, journal clubs and training sessions at the Department of Psychology.

Altogether, there will be at least 27 hours of observations/training provided.
