The Institute of Mental Health/Woodbridge Hospital (IMH/WH) is a 1,980-bed acute tertiary psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing comprehensive and integrated mental health services of the highest quality to the community.

1. Clinic Manager

The Challenges

  • To ensure smooth operation and effective resource management of SOC.
  • To deliver professional and high quality outpatient care services in alignment with the strategic objectives of the Hospital.
  • To participate actively in financial monitoring and budgetary controls, service and process review and enhancements.

The Requirements

  • Degree or diploma holder with 3 years’ supervisory experience, preferably in a service related environment
  • Proactive, posses initiative and independent
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate the team to achieve department targets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent interpersonal and co-ordination skills
  • Service oriented mindset

2. Administrative Assistant
 
The Challenges
You will be an integral member of the operations team, supporting service operations, reporting on and monitoring performance indicators as well as helping to coordinate various activities of the department. You are expected to thrive on challenge and be able to provide efficient general administrative support to the department in the face of constant change.
Depending on your competencies and experience, you will be posted to one of the various operational departments in the institution.

The Requirements
You must possess at least a diploma and have excellent skills in Microsoft applications.  In addition, you should be a self driven individual who displays great initiative and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience in the healthcare industry will be an advantage.

3. Senior/ Executive, Facilities, Planning & Development

The Challenges
You will assist in campus master-planning and development of facilities in the hospital. You will manage facilities planning process, including space planning, conceptual layout, design development, cost estimates, tender exercise and site supervision.

The Requirements

  • Preference for recognised Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • Creative and have a flair for design.
  • At least 3 years experience
  • Good project management skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Independent, resourceful with good interpersonal and communications skills

4. Senior/ Executive, Facilities, Planning & Development

The Challenges
Campus Planning/ Lease Management
You will assist in overseeing the leasing matters in the hospital/campus. You will source for tenants, negotiate and manage leases and build good landlord-tenant relationships. You will also be involved in space planning and liaison with authorites/external agencies on campus development. You will also be involved in development and operational projects.

The Requirements

  • Recognised degree in Real Estate, Building or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years experience in least/contract management, and relevant development project management.
  • Good project management skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Independent, resourceful with good interpersonal and communications skills

5. Assistant Manager/Sr Executive

The Challenges
We are looking for dynamic, innovative talents to assist in the transformation and development of our patient care areas. You will participate and lead in the planning for “customer centric” processes as well as developing new patient care services. You will also assist and facilitate in operations and projects, work closely with the various stakeholders and partners including government agencies to enhance our care delivery system.

The Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree preferably with MBA
  • Familiar with hospital or hospitality environment
  • Have strong interests in process improvement activities, analytical and IT savvy
  • Possess good interpersonal, communication and writing skills

6. Executive / Senior Executive, Medical Affairs

The Challenges
You will assist in the medical manpower planning, deployment, orientation and training related matters. You will support clinical quality improvement projects and clinical service development initiatives. You will provide secretariat support for various clinical committees.

7. Senior Information Management (IM) Specialist/IM Project Manager

The Challenges
Working closely with NHG and IMH business process owners, the Senior IM Specialist leads and reviews processes with the business owners. He/She tracks and manages the IT projects with the NHG IT Project Manager. He/She ensures that gaps are addressed, processes are streamlined for improved efficiency and cost effectiveness. The person should also have an eye for identifying, collecting and analysing outcome measures to demonstrate the improved efficiency.

The Requirements
He/She preferably should have a degree in IT, preferably with 3 to 4 years of healthcare experience working in hospitals, a good team player and eager to learn. Knowledge of SAP IS-H will be an added advantage.

8. Senior Information Management (IM) Specialist (HIS)/ IM Specialist (HIS)

The Challenges
The Senior IM/IM Specialist will be responsible in collecting, analysing, recommending and monitoring various outcome metrics which aid in decision making from both operational and clinical perspectives. The person must have an eye for numbers, competent in trend analysis with sound recommendations for deviations.

The Requirements
He/She should preferably have a degree in IT / Engineering, 1 year of healthcare experience, be proficient in SPSS or any statistical analysis tool and a good team player. Experience on process simulation, optimisation of resource utilisation will be an added advantage.

9. Senior / Buyer

The Challenges
You will be responsible for procurement and sourcing activities to meet costs containment objectives. You will negotiate with suppliers to ensure compliance to our business terms and cost target; resolve product quality and delivery related issues.

You are expected to be proactive in the management of purchase from requisitions to purchase orders to goods receipt and to ensure prompt delivery of goods by suppliers.

You will prepare contracts and monitor contracts expiry in the GPO / Hospital; lead/Participate in product evaluation committees, track suppliers’ performance, issues, escalations and trends.

You are also responsible for contract management and reviews; track and report cost reduction programs against target.

You will participate and co-ordinate in projects to drive cost containment strategies under GPO for the ultimate benefit of our cluster and the healthcare system.

The Requirements

  • Diploma preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Purchasing
  • Driven and positive mentality, resourceful & meticulous
  • Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP ERP system

10. Manager ( Estate Management Services )

The Challenges
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of facilities maintenance, campus security, telecommunications and environmental services of the hospital in accordance to legal and corporate requirements .

He/She will report to the Dy Director (Support Services).

The Requirements

  • A general degree with minimum five years experience in estate management or facilities maintenance at managerial level
  • M &E and maintenance experience will be an added advantage.

11. Senior/ Engineer

The Challenges
The incumbent will be involved in facility maintenance, renovation projects and risk management in the campus. He/she will plan and supervise the maintenance of the essential services and facilities, liaise with contractors and ensure that projects comply with legal and corporate requirements.

The Requirements

  • A recognized degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with minimum 3 years relelvant experience in maintenance of building, ie hospital, hotel or commercial building.
  • Fire Safety Manager certificate would be an advantage.
  • A diploma with relevant experience will also be considered

12. Coordinator, Medical Affairs

The Challenges
You will provide administrative support to the Medical Affairs Department in ensuring smooth operation of the department. Coordinate meetings, take and transcribe minutes of meetings as needed. Follow-up on action items, project management and deadlines. You are expected to thrive on challenge and be able to provide efficient general administrative support to the department in the face of constant change.

The Requirements
You must possess at least a certificate in office skills and have excellent skills in Microsoft applications. In addition, you should be a self driven individual who displays great initiative and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience in the healthcare industry will be an advantage.

13. Senior/ Accountant

The Challenges
You are responsible for the full spectrum of financial, accounting and administrative functions. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and review of monthly and yearly financial management reports
  • Prepare / coordinate budgets, cashflow forecasts and financial analysis on a fortnightly basis
  • To review internal controls and implement strategies to ensure best practice in financial accounting
  • To carry out ad-hoc internal audit projects
  • Perform costing and pricing study for services provided by the Hospital in order to recommend appropriate prices for patient services.
  • Liaise with external auditor

The Requirements

  • Min. Degree in Accounting/ACCA equivalent, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Knowledge in using SAP System will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Preferably able to commence immediately
