The Department of Psychology offers a Psychology Observational Programme (POP) for those working with patients/clients in psychology-related areas. At the minimum, applicants need to be Psychology students studying in their Honours years.

About POP:
Trainees observe live or taped sessions via video or audio. Observations are done in a group for a minimum of 12 hours with clinical psychologists on a variety of cases which are less complex and more straightforward.
The programme includes 15 hours of case discussion which may include, at the presenter’s discretion, some lectures on various forms of Psychotherapy, as well as attendance at Clinical Teaching Sessions, journal clubs and departmental training.

Duration: Two to three weeks (Intake period: Nov/Dec & Jun/Jul)
Programme fees: S$350
