Developing A Cognitive Behaviour Therapy For Selective Mutism
Posted By Dr Fung On 9/16/2003 10:18:35 PM In Research

This is an exploratory work using the manual based cognitive behaviour therapy developed by Dr Philip C Kendall. The CBT attempts to use a computer based approach to make it more interesting. Currently the team includes Dr Sandra Mendlowitz, Ms Alisa Kenny and Dr Katharina Manassis. We are currently piloting the treatment on individual children who are selectively mute. The CBT programme is a work in progress and is available here but you need to contact Dr Daniel Fung for the password. A case study of our first case is available here. The protocol is not yet available (please contact Dr Daniel Fung for more details. If you are in North America, please contact Dr Sandra Mendlowitz)
