Manager (Admin/Operations)

Challenges

You will be responsible for the management of training (internal and external), overseeing the liaison with community partners/agencies and public education, overseeing the operations of the addiction inpatient ward and helpline.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the budget for training, outreach activities and operations of the helpline
  • Oversee the planning and conduct of the annual training needs analysis
  • Provide a framework for creating public awareness of the department services and programmes
  • Oversee the outreach and collaboration with community partners and agencies

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in either Psychology, Social Sciences or a related discipline
  • Related work experience with a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a supervisory position
  • Past or present experience in operations will be an advantage
  • Able to work independently
  • Has a positive and “can-do” attitude
  • Good communication skills and a good team player

Assistant Manager (Research)

Challenges

You will deliver scientific, logistic and administrative support (including contractual and budgetary matters) to the research division and co-ordinate research projects and clinical drug trials that are ongoing in the department. You will assist in the development of collaborative research programmes with external agencies; provide timely reports and updates to stakeholders, and in planning and implementing the strategies of the Research Division.

Requirements

  • Possess a degree in health or life sciences, a masters degree will be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience, of which 2 must be in a supervisory role
  • Experience in psychiatric or social/behavioural science research is preferred


Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Strategic Planning)

Challenges

You will play a key role assisting the hospital management in the ongoing development, review and alignment of the hospital’s strategic direction, as well as developing the National Mental Health blueprint. This will include driving and facilitating key strategic initiatives, as well as monitoring and tracking overall performance indicators.

Requirements

  • A recognized degree with at least 6 – 8 years of related experience of which 3 years at managerial level (for the AM position)
  • Proficiency in the use of performance management tools (such as the Balanced Score Card), and organisational excellence tools (such as ISO, SQC, JCI).
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work with all levels of staff
  • Systematic, methodical and analytical in approach
  • Experience in service, healthcare or social services industry would be advantageous


Senior Project Executive / Executive

Challenges

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) is seeking a suitable candidate to manage projects, including the development of a 300-bedded Psychiatric Nursing Home. 

You will assist the Head in space planning, facilities development and project management. The successful candidate will:

  • Assist the Head to manage the development of projects from concept to completion
  • Liaise with end users, work out design brief, develop concepts and layouts, provide budget estimates, prepare for and handle tenders, recommend award and supervise inhouse-managed projects
  • Liaise with consultants, review submitted proposals and coordinate between consultants and end users for consultant-managed projects
  • Assist in masterplanning for the hospital and the larger campus
  • Monitor projects to ensure project compliance, quality workmanship and timely completion

Requirements

  • Recognised degree in Architecture, Building Science or related fields
  • At least 5-8 years experience in architectural practice and project planning and management



Senior Executive / Executive (Admin / Operations)

Challenges

You will be involved in the development of new clinical services and the execution of initiatives under the clinical programme. You will also be required to be involved in project management. This will include implementing services and programmes, as well as monitoring and tracking performance indicators.  In addition, you will work in collaboration with the clinical, nursing and allied health professionals to drive process and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience with minimum 2 years in operations/administration.  Relevant experience in healthcare sector will be an advantage

Senior Executive / Executive (Quality Management, Clinical)

Challenges

You will be responsible for the supervision of daily warehouse operations, people management, and co-ordinate with all user departments on their requirements & request. In addition, you will also assist in Emergency Planning.

Requirements

You must be an individual who thrives in an environment of rapid change and exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should have a good degree and approximately 2-3 years of working experience.


Executive (HR)

Challenges

This is an entry level position and we will expose you to a full spectrum of HR functions. Your responsibilities will include data analysis, statistical reporting, recruitment, compensation and benefits as well as employee relations.  You will also be involved in process improvement projects and event management.

Requirements

    • Degree in Business, Human Resource or other fields

Senior Information Management (IM) Specialist (Clinical Applications)

The Challenges

Working closely with business partners and IMH business process owners, the Senior IM Specialist leads and reviews processes with the business owners. He/She tracks and manages the IT projects with the IT Project Manager. He/She ensures that gaps are addressed, processes are streamlined for improved efficiency and cost effectiveness. The person should also have an eye for identifying, collecting and analysing outcome measures to demonstrate the improved efficiency.

The Requirements

He/She preferably should have a degree in IT, preferably with 3 to 4 years of healthcare experience working in hospitals, a good team player and eager to learn.


Accountant

Challenges

You are responsible for the full spectrum of management accounting, budgeting and administrative functions. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and review monthly and yearly management reports with variance analysis of actual performance against budget
  • Submit monthly management reports and statistics to HQ
  • Prepare capital and operating budgets / projections and cashflow forecasts
  • Track capital expenditure and prepare periodic status report on capital expenditure
  • Provide finance support to other department, liaison with HQ and Finance Shared Services in daily financial matters, monthly and year-end closing, audit schedules / disclosures
  • Review and post journals, petty cash and schedules prepared by Accounts
    Assistant
  • Assist to monitor utilization of funded programs
  • Liaison with external and internal auditors
  • Assist in any other duties as assigned

The Requirements

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accounting recognised by ICPAS with at least 4 years’ working experience
  • PC literacy in MS Word / Excel & SAP System
